SWA LEVEL 4 OFFICIALS COURSE
The SWA Level 4 Officials Course will be held on September 11, 2021. The course will be conducted using a combination of Zoom and Google Classroom.
STARTING TIME: 11 AM
This course will cover the basic material required to be a Level 4 Technical Official with the SWA, including the various roles of technical officials and how each of these roles help to ensure that every competition is conducted in accordance with the standards of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). Attendees of this course will obtain the knowledge necessary to officiate at a weightlifting competition and fulfill the duties of the various roles of a technical official. Prior to refereeing at a competition, each attendee will also be required to shadow at least one session with an experienced SWA official at an SWA event.
A brief multiple-choice quiz will follow the online course and will need to be passed before attendees can be considered eligible for shadowing at any upcoming competitions.
