Congratulations to Bella Brown for competing in the 2023 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India this past summer.

Her dedication and commitment to training have certainly shown us she is an international standing athlete with a Silver Medal in the 49kg class with a total of 146!

What a great Junior Weightlifting athlete! Good Luck with your big step into becoming a Senior-age athlete! We know you will rock the podium in whatever you set your mind to!

Bravo Bella!

Makenna Smith is another awesome Lifter!!  She also competed at the Commonwealth Games 2023 and are so proud of her!  This young and determined athlete as so much more to do in her weightlifting career and we all look forward to seeing her grow in the Junior Rankings and what a promising future she has in this great sport.

We certainly have to celebrate Alexis Ashworth! She is another notable Saskatchewan athlete who attended the World Senior Championships in Riyadh 2023 this month. With a crazy training schedule in the US, Alexis has been busy focusing on lifting and putting her career as a Nurse on hold.   We have invited Alexis to join us at the Chalk ‘n Awe in October and she is able to join us to compete!

So come on out and see her lift and maybe even hear some training tips from her!

One can honestly say….

Sask Girls Rock the Weightlifting Podium!
